First and foremost, this site was created to help users I interact with on Discord on a daily basis. That being said, anyone can feel free to learn from this but some topics may be specific to the "Home Lab" community and not really apply for everyone. 
Discord Tutorial(s) are for General Discord use and apply to everyone that uses it.
Overview¶
The Discord Tutorials were written to help everyone to be able to make posts that are easier to read so they can get (or give) help in a way that benefits everyone involved.
The "Home Lab" related pages are inspired by one of many Discord Communities I moderate for or am involved in. I'll be expanding this site once in a while with some broad topics but I write more detailed tutorials on my Docs Site (not yet public) and will leave most of the Project Specific entries for over there.
Before asking questions, please check these guides. I'm happy to help, but these resources might answer your question faster!
Notes about this site¶
- Some of this information is very basic. This isn't meant to be condescending to anyone and is meant to allow people of all skill levels to work their way through this.
- Any time you see
<and>surrounding some text (example:<folderName>) that means you have to edit the information specific to you and not run it as-is. - I write many tutorials for Discord users and got sick of the way Discord limits the way I can write and format the content. (Example, lumping all related images at the bottom of a post, thus losing context)
Documents Site¶
I also have a "Documents Site" (not yet public) where I write more in-depth tutorials about Docker Projects, some OS Basics, among other things and want it to be clear that this site is not meant to be that site. They are for different purposes and cater to slightly different audiences.
